How we think about the data your pet business hands us, and what stays out of our hands on purpose.
Payments
Payments on UnleashOS are intended to be handled through Stripe support. That means customer card numbers go directly to Stripe — they are not stored on UnleashOS servers. UnleashOS records the payment status and a reference to the Stripe transaction so you can see paid, deposit paid, or balance due on the appointment. We do not claim to be a tax, accounting, refund-management, or chargeback-handling product.
Customer & pet records
UnleashOS stores the kinds of information your business already keeps: owner contact details, pet profiles (breed, weight, coat, temperament, notes), appointment history, and service notes. It's stored so your business can run, and so you can see the history of a pet across visits.
Access & admin
Business owners manage their own UnleashOS dashboard. Staff members get access through your account. We don't access your data in the normal course of operations; when support requires us to look at something we ask you first.
What we don't claim
We don't claim SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO, PCI Level 1, or other formal certifications. We don't claim audited security controls. If your business has a specific compliance requirement, please contact us before signing up so we can be honest about whether UnleashOS fits.
